Stages of treatment with dental crowns
1
The first visit begins with the performance of a panoramic radiograph, which allows the evaluation of the dental and periodontal tissues, being an essential component of the oral examination.
2
The next stage includes the doctor's consultation and the interpretation of the results based on the X-ray. The dentist will evaluate the state of the teeth, establish the diagnosis and create the treatment plan. To fix a dental crown, at least two visits to the dentist are necessary.
3
At the first visit to the dentist, together with the patient, they will select the color of the future dental crowns, in order to obtain an appropriate aesthetic result, after which they will polish the tooth that requires the dental crown. After grinding the tooth, a dental impression is made, which is then sent to our dental laboratory.
All these steps are performed with local anesthesia. At the patient's need and desire, temporary crowns can be placed, which have an aesthetic role until the permanent crowns are fixed.
The second visit includes the trial of the dental crowns, during which the patient evaluates the obtained result, after which the dental crowns are fixed.
One of the biggest benefits of crowns - durability and the fact that they provide a beautiful and natural smile. With proper oral care, dental crowns will have a long life. Whether you have one or more crowns, follow these simple tips:
